RECONSTRUCTION OF THE P 48 HIGHWAY ALONG THE STAGE FROM KĀRSAVA–SALNAVA

Before the performance of the reconstruction project, the existing road was at the same height as the surrounding relief, as a result of which the road became very hard to negotiate during the spring and in autumn months. During the course of the construction works, the longitudinal profile of the road was improved with the construction of an incline. In addition, corrections were made to the plan at individual points along the road, in order to improve the limited visibility due to the bends on the road. Expansions and passenger platforms were installed at all bus stops, along with the corresponding equipment.
